WHRC has several mustangs in need of a forever home at a sanctuary. These mustangs are usually uncomfortable around humans and are not adoptable, even as companions for other horses. They are not dangerous, their hearts just lie in the wild and cannot be tamed enough for human companionship.
Here at WHRC we have a separate fund account set up just for these mustangs to return to freedom at a sanctuary. The funds donated are used to transport them from our center to a number of sanctuaries around the United States. There are currently 13 mustangs in need of sanctuary and are awaiting funds to take them there. Once at a sanctuary they will live out the rest of their lives with hundreds of other mustangs returned to freedom.
The following are our mustangs here at WHRC awaiting sanctuary. Pictures will be coming soon. If you would like to help them get to sanctuary, please make a donation today.
